Keeping our team qualified.

Keeping our team up to date with all safety requirements and the correct skills to ensure we can carry on our efficient process of design, manufacture and installation has always been an important aspect of our company. We value all the skills our staff bring to Wintech Modular Projects Limited as they are assets that help us to provide a better service to our clients. We are excited to share the news that 3 members of our team have just completed their CPCS A40 Slinger/Signaller and their CPCS A62 Crane Supervisor/Lift Supervisor courses. These courses show the dedication we have towards continuing preforming our lifting and loading of modular buildings here on site in Doncaster.

The CPCS A40 Slinger/Signaller course shows that our team can safely carry out both slinger and signaller roles which is significant in the loading of our prefabricated cabins. It also means they are competent at communicating with the plant operators, identifying, and securing both weights and loads and ensuring that they are made safe by following procedures. Safety is always a top priority which we take seriously to ensure a safe and smooth running of all our modular construction and refurbishment projects. This course was provided by Fastline Training Services and you can find out more about this course and how it benefits us here.

The CPCS A26 Crane/Lift Supervisor course shows our members are properly trained in the supervision of lifting wherever we need to load and unload our prefabricated buildings. The course also means our trained staff are competent at following safe systems of work, completing method statements, understanding cranes, terminology, documentation, and safety. Some important aspects also include understanding crane stability, duty charts and safety devices alongside preparing an area with exclusion zones. All the benefits provided and more information about the course can be found here.

We are happy with this good news as we can continue to move our projects forwards as lifting and loading modular buildings is an essential part of the process here at Wintech Modular. We thrive on efficient planning and the access to the correct equipment. As we require to use our 60-tonne crane here on site to load bespoke modular buildings ready for transportation, the 3 members of staff passing these courses means we can continue to export and install these custom-built cabins to sites across the UK. Every building we manufacture is custom built in a controlled environment to the highest quality. By communicating with our clients throughout the project these custom-built wash blocks, toilet units, modular offices and cabins have a finish we are proud of therefore having a trained team is crucial to loading. With our highly skilled team sending them out from our workshop we can rest assured that all loading will go smoothly and safely.

We continue to expand our teams completed courses here at Wintech because we believe improving and developing is important to growing our company and providing a reliable service. We also find it important to keep our existing team up to date with their skills. If you wish to find out more about us and what we can do for you, please feel free to get in touch with us and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
